Any PC (on the same network as the system server) can view current status, have alarm announcements displayed as pop-up notices, and create/view database reports. The color-coded alarm pop-ups can be configured where to appear on the display, how long to appear on the display, if the user must acknowledge the alarm, and specifically which alarms will be shown.
MillAlert™ includes a library of canned database reports such as sensitivity test results, speed alerts, and radiation event reports. In addition to this library, the system allows for customized database reports where the user selects the detector system, the alarms, and the events to be included in the report.
MillAlert™ hosts a company intranet page showing the current status and data from all connected detector systems. This web page can be accessed from any authorized user from an office, a home, or while on a trip.
MillAlert™ includes an alarming capability that is highly configurable. The system allows for multiple shift configurations. Per alarm and per shift, the system will email and or TXT message the primary and secondary contact when an alarm is detected. This allows key personnel to know very quickly when serious events occur such as a high radiation level detected. MillAlert™ can be configured to notify one or more individuals by email or TXT message when:
A response tests is not performed within a prescribed time-frame, such as each shift or day.
A sensitivity test is not performed within a prescribed time-frame, such as daily or weekly.
An error, such as a loss of communication with one or more detectors or an optical sensor failure occurs.
There is a loss of power or the detection system becomes inoperable, crashes or freezes-up.
Speed alarms exceed a certain amount or frequency.
Radiation alarms occur, even if the alarm isn’t acknowledged by the detector system operator.
Background levels exceed a user defined level or condition. |
